Registration instructions for RETURNING Students who are not currently taking courses from Storefront, St. Gabriel, or a GSACRD iLearn Center.

1. Download the St. Gabriel Cyber School FirstClass® installer from http://www.stgabe.com/clientdownloads . Once downloaded to your computer, double click on the file to install the FirstClass® client on your computer. If you are using a software firewall (Zone Alarm, Norton Personal Firewall, etc), you need to tell the firewall to accept activity on TCP port 510 or to allow FirstClass to access the Internet (each firewall product is different, check your documentation).

2. Once installed, launch FirstClass®. You will see the following.

Click on Advanced (lower left corner). You will see the following. Click on Setup and make sure fc.stgabe.com is entered in the Server: field. Then click on Save.

With this view still open, select Guest in the Log in as: area. Then press the Enter key on your keyboard.

The next two things you will see is the Guest user FirstClass® desktop and the the Registration Wizard splash screen. Note, you may need to move or minimize the FirstClass Guest desktop to see the Registration Wizard Splash Screen. Select the Register radio button and click the next button to begin the registration process.

4. You will now be asked to select a school. If you are unsure which campus to choose, select Other - St. Gabriel.

5. The next part of the Registration Wizard is Step 1. Make sure Returning Student is selected. Then enter your St. Gabriel Cyber School User ID and Password and click on Next.

6. Step 2 is a seven part process. Any field that is highlighted in yellow must be filled in. Enter your contact information and then press the Next button.

Enter in your Current Address. Once you have filled in this information, press the Next button.

If your Permanent Address is different from your Current Address please enter the information on this screen. Once you have filled in this information, press the Next button.

Fill in your Parent or Guardian's information. Once you have filled in this information, press the Next button.

If necessary, enter in an additional Parent or Guardian's information. Once you have filled in this information, press the Next button.

Enter your Primary Emergency Contact Information. Once you have filled in this information, press the Next button.

If necessary, your Secondary Emergency Contact Information. Once you have filled in this information, press the Next button.

7. Step 3 asks you to select a Grade Level, Registration Type (full time, part time), Orientation Location and Exam Location. For the Orientation and Exam Location, select a location close to where you live.

8. In Step 4, you must enter a Previous or Other School. If the choice that best fits your situation is not available, please select Other and enter both the School Name and City. Once you have entered your information, click the Next button.

9. Step 5 is the course selection screen. Click on Request a Course. You will see a list of courses for the grade level you stated (Grade 11 for example).

Click on the Request a Course button . After each selection, click on the Request Course button.

If you want to take a course that is not listed for your grade level, change the grade above and click on Search. Changing the grade from 11 to 12 and clicking on Search will present you with a list of Grade 12 courses. When you are finished selecting your courses, click on Done. Then on the step 5 screen, click on Next.

10. At step 10, click on Save so that you can print out your Registration form (there are a page or two that require signatures).

Once the document is saved, click on Done. Congratulations. All you need to do now is wait for a call from the school registrar for confirmation.
